OK, I’ll admit it. I wasn’t a fan of PewDiePie before (no I didn’t hate him, I just didn’t watch him). Now after seeing him live, interacting with other people and meeting him, well not a fan but an admirer. Will I watch his vids? Already started.

Interesting day today at work (I just started here 2 months ago): I work with scientists and I overheard them talking about games. Wondering in, listening to their conversation on whether to buy the PS4 on sale or the XBoxOne. Hmmm, I say “Have you played or seen “The Last Guardian”, it’s a gorgeous game on the PS4″. Someone says “look up a playthrough”. I say Jacksepticeye.
Suddenly a group of 30 something and 40 something year old scientists sat enthralled for an hour watching Jack play giddily.
2 subscribed right there.
5 more sent me an email “in secret” asking for the URL.
The rest of the day you could hear Jack coming from the office area AND the lab.
I work with gaming nerd scientists. Gotta love it.
Games, Gamers, YouTubers transcends age.

Okay, I know that some of the hype around Antisepticeye has died down, but I wanted to share my theory of how Jack came back! Anti didn’t want to have to run the YouTube channel! And can I say, the Say Goodbye video was phenomenal? Good heavens.
Also I have two stories about drawing this all out. First: when I was working on the panel with Darkiplier facepalming while Linkin Park plays in the background, my Pandora station - which almost never plays Linkin Park, by the way - glitched out and played two of their songs in a row. It was freakin’ weird. It was like Pandora knew.
Second: today while I was finishing it up, I got a nosebleed out of nowhere. So.
Because gay isn’t only 17 year old white kids that come from middle to upper class homes. And Black Love isn’t just straight couples that enforce gender roles and women with perfect bodies, a quiet tongue, and a womb always ready to create. This is also the face of Black Love.
