But my advice is basically, just do it. Mess with the program. Figure out things. I reccommend FireAlpaca simply cause it’s what I use, but there are so many things you can use. Perhaps look up best free art programs. Tumblr can probably help with that.
As far as art goes, just draw. The more you practice and push yourself, the better you are going to get. Use IRL references! If you plan on a more cartoon style, realism will save your ass. Really, it’s what you have to do first before anything else, so it looks right and good. Like doing acting before voice acting in a sense.
